Bold Commerce Integration (BETA)

The Blueprint > Bold Commerce integration enables customers to manage their subscriptions in conversation and thereby reduce the friction of needing to log into subscription accounts to make edits. The integration works by sending automated messages in the form of upcoming subscription reminders, confirmations and post subscription check-ins, all of which are useful for many reasons including:

  • Welcoming new subscribers
  • Alerting a customer when their subscription is almost due
  • Allowing customers to skip in conversation
  • Resolving issues such as delivery queries and avoiding potential negative reviews

Please Note - This integration is only for those merchants using Bold V2. For more info on migrating from Bold V1 to V2, please see this article.

Setting Up

  1. Firstly head to the Integrations Hub in your dashboard and select the 'Bold' option.

  2. Once selected, a new window will open on the Bold domain with a list of permissions Blueprint is requesting. Please select 'Approve'.




  3. Once approved, select 'Test connection' and if successful, a green tick will appear.



Set the Upcoming Charge Period in Bold

To control when the upcoming charge notification is set you will firstly need to configure this in the Bold dashboard.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Email notifications 



  2. Select 'Upcoming Order' and scroll to 'Set time and date'

Setting up Subscription Messages in Blueprint


To setup your Subscription messages, head to the Automations section in your dashboard and toggle live (or create) the relevant Subscription automations.
