Sending Campaigns

As well as utilising Magic Cart links in flows, they should also be used in campaigns to drive more revenue. Adding a Repeat Buy block to a campaign will enable customers to reorder their previous order in one click and with built in logic to show for only those who have ordered before, they can be added to all campaigns sent out, regardless of the content or purpose. 

If you are a subscription business, you can send a campaign pushing a one time addition to a current subscription. New product lines are added all the time but getting your subscribers to try these products can be more difficult than regular purchasers as they donโ€™t visit the website to place orders. This can be a really powerful tool in enabling a customer to add these products in just a couple of clicks.

As well as getting a customer to reorder or add to their subscription, you can also enhance the customer experience by giving them the option to manage their subscription at any point. Rather than only being able to change a subscription a few days in advance through the Upcoming Charge notification, adding a banner to a campaign gives added flexibility, increasing customer satisfaction and a concurrent reduction in churn. 

How to Setup

After onboarding, a CSM will have already setup a Repeat Buy block in your account, complete with the correct link, logic and added a placeholder image. You should update the imagery to your styling and design requirements. Some examples can be found here.

Previewing a Campaign

Before sending out a campaign you will want to test the Magic Cart link and logic to make sure that this is showing to the correct audience. 

New Klaviyo Editor

To preview your email click the "Preview" button and then search for a profile who satisfies the criteria to receive this email. In the case of the Repeat Buy link, search for a customer who is in the segment "Relo has Reorder Link" (a group created on onboarding containing those customers who have previously made an order). 

Old Klaviyo Editor

To preview your email click the edit button and then select the "Preview" button on the left hand side. You will then need to preview as a customer that satisfies the criteria to receive this email. In the case of the Repeat Buy link, add the email address of a customer who is in the segment "Relo has Reorder Link" (a group created on onboarding containing those customers who have previously made an order). Add this email address in the section which reads "Choose a different person".

Make sure you have "Show directly in Klaviyo" selected and then click "Preview Now". Follow the links in the preview to test whether they work correctly. 

Results

The relative share of revenue driven by campaigns will be shown in the main dashboard of Relo.
