Why can't I send a message from our brand name?

When a message is sent from Blueprint it will be sent from your brand number and so appear to the receiver as a phone number and not as your brand name.

The technology used to replace a number with a name is known as Alphanumeric Sender ID and is often used for marketing, mass alerts, verifications, and notifications. The key drawback with this method is that it is one way outbound only meaning a customer is unable to reply to these messages. The Blueprint platform is built on 2 way communication giving the ability for both outbound and inbound messages. In enabling customers to reply and engage directly to your messages, you can increase retention and LTV.

To increase the trustworthiness of the number, we would encourage you to activate the Confirmation Message and request that a customer save your brand number in their phone contacts so as to display correctly when receiving a future text.
